IBS and IBD : Two different conditions

IBS is a disorder of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract whereas IBD is inflammation or destruction of the bowel wall, which can lead to sores and narrowing of the intestines.

Only the symptoms can not define these conditions, you might need to go for proper screening. Both conditions have few similar and few different symptoms. Dietary guidelines are different for both the conditions.
