Its an old saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” and its true.

- Chewing an apple stimulates the production of saliva in your mouth and will reduce tooth decay and lowers the levels of bacteria.
- Apples are rich in polyphenolics and flavonoids. These compounds help body to protect from deleterious effects of free radicals which causes cancers.
- Apples also contains vitamin-C. Vitamin-C is a powerful natural antioxidant. Consuming foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals from the body.
